It's Nelson Mandela Day!

Happy Tuesday!

Did you know that today is Nelson Mandela Day?  To learn more about it, click here.

Welcome to Kiondra Sells Tupperware...

I hope that you have been having a great week so far!

Do you happen to know someone who is bright, sharp and looking for some extra income (like possibly $1,000 per month or more)?  I would like to talk to that person.  We are looking to add some great people (men and women) to join our team!  Training is free and it is mostly online.  Join us today for only $39!

Recipe of the week:

Orange You Delicious Salad

Ingredients

  • 10 oz. bagged matchstick carrots or 10 oz. carrots, grated
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 tbsp. poppy seeds
  • 8 oz. can pineapple tidbits and juice
  • ½ cup orange juice
  • salt and pepper

  •   Directions

  • Place matchstick or grated carrots in base of Quick Chef® Pro and turn handle to quickly chop into smaller pieces.  Combine all ingredients in a serving bowl.  Refrigerate several hours for flavors to develop.  Serve cold.

Training Information:
How are things going in your business?  Are you working it?  Are you being consistent?

You cannot be in business if you are not getting the word out that you are open.  No one is going to come and knock on your door to get your products and services.  I know that this is a shocker, but they just aren't.

Are you sitting around having a pity party?  If so, shame on you!  What you put into the atmosphere is what you will get in return.  I am not suggesting that you "fake it until you make it", but I am saying that you need to make something happen for yourself and get out of the negativity mode.  It is not going to assist you... AT ALL...  You must know your worth before you can get others to realize it!

The key to being consistent is to train each and every day.  Get in the habit of making a list each evening for things that you would like to accomplish the next day.  It doesn't have to be a laundry list, but just a few things that you would like to do for your business.

That is all... go and be a success today!

Do You Have A Plan?

Happy Monday everyone.

I hope that you had a nice and relaxing weekend, but it is time to get back to work.

So you have started in Direct Sales, now what?  Your sponsor or upline is drilling into your head that you need to get out there and start selling and recruiting.  But how?  Are you ready?  Aren't you still learning about the business and the products?  This is the thing.... you can only start selling and recruiting when you are already and comfortable.

A good place to start is to develop a Business Plan.  Why do I need a Business Plan for Direct Sales you may be asking?  Remember, that we are looking to earn money and therefore we are treating this like a business and NOT a hobby?  A Business Plan is a lot easier to do than you think.  I am here to assist you!

First you have to have an Executive Summary Business Overview.  This should be 1-2 paragraphs about your business.  This is not just what you are selling, but what additional services are you offering in addition to what you are selling.

Next, you will need a Mission Statement.  This is YOUR goal for the business.

Then you have to list the Objectives.  This is where you talk about how you are going to apply what you know to deliver on the services and products that you will be offering.  When I say deliver, I do not mean literally how they will be delivered to your customers (but I am sure you knew that).

After you have completed the Objectives section, you can move on to Success Strategies.  This is just as it implies.  Under this section, there are subsections.
1.  Professionalism
2.  Optimum Location
3.  Repeat Customers

Next, you will develop your Company Summary.  This is where you talk about the company that you are with.

Then you will write your Start-Up Strategy.  These are expenses that you will incur such as start up fees, marketing, trade shows and the like.  This section can always be revised as you find that there are things that you forgot about.

Now it is time to talk about your Products and Services.  In this section your will talk about the products that you offer and the services that you will be providing.

After you have that done, you move onto the Market Analysis and Plan section.  This is where you will talk about the different types of customers that you are targeting and what you will offer to them.

I know that this seems like a lot, but we are almost to the finish line!

Then you will prepare your:
Implementation Plan
Marketing Strategy
New Customer Plan

...and Finally, your Financial Goals!

And Voila!  You have completed your Business Plan!

See, it wasn't that bad, now was it?

It's Fantastic Friday!!

Hello everyone.

Welcome to Kiondra Sells Tupperware...

I hope that you have been having a great week so far!

Is there an organization that you are passionate about?  Have you ever wanted to do a Fundraiser   Well, I have the solution.

Fundraising with Tupperware may seem a old fashioned but it actually still makes a great fundraiser.
Why? - Because you are working with one of the most well known and trusted housewares in the world.  These useful products have always been incredibly popular and there are few homes that do not contain some items of Tupperware.  As a part of our commitment to the communities in which we operate Tupperware Fundraising has long been part of our story.

With the online fundraiser your organization is given a shopping portal to The Tupperware Online Store.
You encourage your supporters to shop online and receive 40% of any orders placed through your organization.  Online Tupperware Fundraisers are great if your supporters are spread out nationally or over a wide area. They are also perfect if you distribute a regular newsletter. Simply provide your web-link to the site.  It also allows access to the entire Tupperware range and all sorts of web-only special deals.  It is easy to organize. Actually, I will make all the arrangements for you.

If you would like to have a Fundraiser Party, simply invite friends and supporters to a particular venue.
This might be:
• A social evening at someone's house
• A larger event at a school or church hall
• A simple stall at any other event
Your organization will earn 40% commission on all party plan purchases.
You can never have too much Tupperware!

Important Training Information:
Are you using Facebook in your business?  If not, SHAME ON YOU!

Facebook is so instrumental to our business, but only if we are using it the correct way!  If you are using it correctly, you should be attracting new customers, hostesses and team members.  If you are doing it incorrectly, you are just annoying people!

I do not claim to be a social media guru... Trust me when I say that it is a work in progress (Seriously)!

To be successful on Facebook, you have to understand the differences between a Profile, a Page and a Group.

Do you know the differences?

OK, so this is my understanding (and remember, I am not the expert here):
A Profile is for personal use. Plain and simple.

A Page is for business or personal use.  It is always public and you cannot change the privacy settings.

A Group can also be business or personal, you can approve people to join and it can be public or private.

If there is something that you would like to add about these, please comment below.

Important Training Information:
Is text messaging better than making actual phone call?

This is a cause for debate.  When I started in Direct Sales it was "Smile and Dial". What I am finding out is that I will leave a message only to get a text message back.  Sooo... Guess what I have started to do?  Yup, you guessed it... Text Messaging.  I still make calls, but this I have found to be a game changer.

If call someone and they are busy, they rush you off the phone and may or may not call you back.  When you text someone, if they are busy, they can get back to you.  It is being respectful of the time of others.  You can also book a bunch of parties via text.  You can send way more text messages than you can make phone calls.  Find a great script that works for you and send it out to 50 people.  I challenge you to do that today!  Just don't send out a group text... that is TACKY!

Go for it and let me know how it works for you!

Yesterday, we talked about about our fears.  Today, I want to challenge you to step out of your comfort zone and do something, anything!  Post in the comments below and you will be entered into a drawing!

When you are working your business, what are you doing to ensure that you are having consistent success?  If your business depends on parties, did you know that the easiest way to get additional parties is actually at the party?  You should ensure that you are dating AT LEAST 2! This way you can continue to work.  Offer something FREE if you have to!

Just remember if you want to earn business money then you have to treat your business as such!

Important Training Information:
Did you know that your mindset is one of the foundations of your business?

We sabotage our own success everyday.  We say that we FEAR things, we are not taking the reins on our business and we don't want to put int the work.

1.  FEAR - This is an acronym for False Evidence Appearing Real
If you think it or speak it, it will become real in your life.  We sometimes have to step out
of our comfort zone to overcome our fear.  Remember that fear is not of God.  When you
are at a point where you "think" that fear is creeping in.... Remember to Face Everything
     And Rise!

2.  Taking Control of YOUR schedule
Do you have you calendar mapped out each month?  If not, you should.  You have to
know when you want to work.  Make sure that your calendar is filled with all of your
obligations, meetings, appointments and then look at when you can have parties/classes.
Do not allow people to dictate when you are working.  Remember, this is your business
and you started it so that you could control your life.  I'm just saying!

3.  Not Putting in Work
Rome was not built in a day, so why do you feel that your business should bloom
overnight?  What are you doing to make sure that you are in business?  Are you treating
your business as a business or a hobby?  You must put in work in order to get results.
No one said that this would be easy, but the rewards.... oh, the rewards will be fabulous!
