How Badly Do You Want It?

I’m sure you’re wondering what CARROTS have to do with your business…

I mean, after all you aren’t a farmer, or are you?

But seriously, think about it.  When you want to lead a horse somewhere, what do you use?

CARROTS!

So when you want to turn a “potential” host into an actual host, what are you going to dangle?

CARROTS!

Now, in this case we aren’t talking about the carrots that you eat...but you want to dangle something that is going to get them to BITE!

So, since you need classes on your calendar for a THRIVING business….

You need your calendar to be FULL…

Well, you NEED to remember that when you are dating on Facebook you need to make the offer look HUGE or no one will take you up on it, especially if they know someone else that offers the same product as you.

I’m sure this is a scary area for you because most direct sellers instantly go into lack mentality and start thinking about what you don’t have so you are scared to offer things that look like a ton and cost you a little money.

I’m sure you’re wondering WHY you need to offer more when your company already has an amazing hostess rewards program…

Remember, you want to ensure that YOU STAND OUT from every other person selling what you sell.

You want to post one of these carrots:

Who wants $100 in FREE products?  Comment below

I have $1,000 to give away to 10 lucky hostesses this month, who wants in?

I am giving the first person who books a HUGE BONUS of $1,000 added to their party sales” (you only want to apply it to the 10% of the subtotal party sales level)

Yes, these offers sound like a lot but that’s GOOD! You want them to so that they will catch your clients’ attention and make them take action.

You also want to put a15 girls in attendance minimum on carrots where they get $100 in FREE products to ensure that you cover yourself

Now that you’ve made your post, STEP AWAY for 10-15 minutes.

When you come back to a comment or two (or three or four), it’s time to follow up!

You’re going to send a private message to those that commented that says “I am so excited to rock out a party with you, what date works better {January 15th} or {January 8th}?”

Did you see what I did there?

I gave them TWO CHOICES, and I put the earlier chose LAST for a reason.

The mind always jumps to the second option assuming that it’s the later option, which will help you book closer in!

Once they respond to you with a date, you want to send a message letting them know that you have them down for January 8th at 7pm and that when they have 15 guests in attendance they will get their $100 in bonus products - you let them know the minimum once they are on your calendar.

You should be posting your Deal Or No Deal or Carrot every other week.

So today you posted a carrot, so that means in two weeks you should play Deal Or No Deal and then two weeks later you should post a carrot.

Using both each month will help you keep your calendar full of bookings and your business THRIVING.

Are you ready to dangle your BIG carrot? GOOD!

Are You Controlling Your Calendar?

“Maybe next month…” AKA, The Further Than 30 Host. This is the guest who wants to date their class MORE than 30 days out.

You want bookings NOW! You want money NOW! You want to build your business NOW!

This will help you from feeling the pressure at the end of the month when you are busy and not really having your schedule set out for the next month. It also allows next month to come and gives you some leeway before you need to plan that month’s schedule.

This also gives you some ammunition to use when your potential host gives you this objection.

Be careful not to get stuck in the lack mentality of “if I don’t book them now then they may not ever get on my calendar” because you can book them now for 4+ months down the road and there’s a HUGE chance they will cancel and still not be in your calendar.

Trust me here! DO NOT book classes further than 30 days out, even if you know that you have new products.

WHY?

Because you don’t know your schedule two months from now and, the truth is, most times neither does your potential hostess, which is why the cancellation rate SKYROCKETS to 90%.

When you book within 30 days your cancellation rate will decrease tremendously. Yes, booking parties within the 30 day mark can be frustratingly hard because your new hostess always wants to push it out a month or two, I get it.

However, there are usually only 2 main objections that a potential says when they is “trying” to push it out:

1.    I need to check my schedule…When someone says this, instead of immediately letting them off the hook and telling you that they will call you to book, you say
“Well____ since I am booking up really fast, what I would like to do is pencil you in on a date you think might work, go home check your schedule and if I don’t hear from you within 24 hours, I will assume we are good to go for that date, so which date do you think might work better ___ or ____?”

  1. They have excuses…  like crazy excuses. I’m sure you have hear a TON of them so I don’t need to go into detail here. When they say this you say…
“____ If it’s further than 30 days ____ doesn’t get credit and you don’t get the $50 bonus, is there any way you can squeeze it in on the 30 day mark, that way you get the $50 bonus and ___ get credit? Would ___ or ____ work better for you?”

The results that you have from controlling your schedule, and overcoming objections will change the effectiveness and efficiency of your business.
You now have some ammunition to use when your potential hostess gives you an objection, which yields some pretty great results.
50% of the time when you overcome their objection, it WILL work, sometimes even more often than 50% of the time. This is why I suggest creating an arsenal of ways to overcome the objections you commonly hear + HOW you overcome them.

You will absolutely love learning to overcome objections. So be sure to overcome those objections at least one time because it will pay off BIG in filling your calendar.
